Myrtlewood is native to the Pacific Northwest and we source it from a sustainable lumberyard in Portland, OR. Myrtlewood is a unique and beautiful wood known for its rich, varied colors from blond to black, with honey, brown, gray, red, and green hues. It has intricate grain patterns that can be highly figured, including fiddleback and burl. It is a durable, lightweight hardwood and when paired with a thoughtful design, creates an intriguing, distinctive earring.
Wander the Woods earrings are all-natural wood with clear varnish. The wood is cut and sanded thin enough to then laser-cut according to the original design. Finally, they are hand sanded before applying a finish.
All stud earrings are hypoallergenic with stainless steel posts.
