Artfully crafted, these sun & moon earrings are made from Pacific Northwest Tanoak sourced locally near Portland, Oregon. Tanoak is known for its strong, fine-grained wood It has a light to medium reddish-brown color, with a straight grain and medium to coarse texture.
All Wander the Woods materials are sustainably sourced from lumber yard mill ends or wood worker scraps. The wood is cut and sanded thin enough to laser-cut a design specifically selected for each type of wood. Once the design is cut, the earrings are hand sanded before applying a finish. French hook ear wire is made of hypoallergenic niobium accented with copper bead and jump ring.
