Lanterns

After the lantern design is complete, a wood that highlights the design is selected then cut and sanded down thin enough for laser cutting. After cutting, the wood is sanded until smooth and clear coated to allow the natural wood color and figuring to show through. Resin is used for a stained-glass effect. All lanterns are original design, laser-cut, and solid wood.
