The pentacle design symbolizing the five elements (earth, water, fire, air and spirit), is beautifully portrayed in solid walnut. The understated elegance of these lightweight, durable earrings stems from the thoughtful design and natural patina of the walnut.
Willamette Valley Walnut is native to the Pacific Northwest and comes from a sustainable lumberyard in Portland, OR. Walnut is a dense, tight-grained wood. It can range in color from light brown to dark chocolate, with some blonde or yellow as well.
Wander the Woods earrings are all natural wood with clear varnish. The wood is cut and sanded thin enough to then laser-cut according to the original design. Finally, they are hand sanded before applying a finish. The ear hooks are made of hypoallergenic niobium with a niobium jump ring and copper ball.
